The St. Petersburg court reported that the former chairman of the city's labor and employment committee, Dmitry Cherneyko, was taken into custody.

According to the investigation, from November to December 2019, the accused, while performing his work duties, stole 300 thousand rubles from the city budget.
The police explained that Cherneyko committed the crime together with his wife.
