Philip Kirkorov responded to the defendant's actions.
The singer agreed to halve the amount of compensation for the lawsuit against the queen of Russian chanson.
The People's Artist of Russia has refused the demand he made earlier, RIA Novosti writes.

The plaintiff's lawyer in Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky Court reported that the King of Pop intends to reduce the amount of compensation.
“We are reducing the compensation for moral damages to five million rubles due to the fact that the plaintiff was apologized to,” said Kirkorov’s representative.
Before this, the singer announced his intention to sue Uspenskaya for 10 million rubles.
Moreover, it was not the singer who apologized to the artist, but journalist Alena Zhigalova, who interviewed the artist.
In that conversation, Uspenskaya called Kirkorov a “misogynist,” which offended the king of pop.
The singer's defense was surprised by Philip Bedrosovich's decision to reduce the amount of compensation, since he is demanding this money not from Zhigalova, but from Uspenskaya.
The singer's lawyer did not go into details and only noted that this was the personal decision of the People's Artist.
Kirkorov entered into a settlement agreement with Zhigalova, and the plaintiff now expects to receive 5 million rubles from Uspenskaya.
