Expert names the most harmful oil for frying

A nutritionist has named an oil that is best not to fry in.

Expert Natalia Titovchenko shared a comment on this topic.

In a conversation with Sputnik radio, the nutritionist advised against frying in refined oil.

There are two reasons why this is worth doing.

Firstly, refined oil contains almost no healthy substances.

Secondly, the product has a high concentration of trans fats.

The expert listed alternatives that are safer.

These are clarified butter, ghee, lard, coconut oil and avocado oil.

Many of these options have a fairly high smoke point, which is ideal for this type of cooking.

These oils begin to burn and release harmful substances only if the temperature is above 200 degrees.
