Moscow's chief nutritionist has named the ideal time for dinner.

The interval between the evening meal and sleep should be at least three and a half hours.

The chief nutritionist of the Moscow Department of Health, Antonina Starodubova, shared her comments on this topic in a conversation with RIA Novosti .

Dinner should be 3.5-4 hours before bedtime. It is recommended to follow this rule when planning your daily routine.

There are also a few nuances that will help make dinner as healthy and beneficial as possible for your figure.

Firstly, the caloric content of evening meals should not exceed 20% of the total caloric content of the diet.

About 60% of calories should come from the first half of the day, the expert emphasized.

Secondly, it is better to eat at the same time.

If you feel hungry shortly before bed, you can have a snack of low-fat yogurt or drink a glass of kefir, the nutritionist advised.
