The drug "Tirzetta" (domestic tirzepatide) enters the Russian market.
This was reported by the RIA Novosti agency with reference to Kira Zaslavskaya, a member of the board of directors of the Promomed company.
As Zaslavskaya noted, now domestic doctors will have tirzepatide synthesized in Russia on hand.
This substance was synthesized by Russian specialists, therefore, end consumers can be confident in the effectiveness and safety of the resulting drug.
It is noted that the problem of obesity is one of the most acute in the world. And the new drug will help improve the quality of life of many people who face it.
Since 2003, there has been a steady increase in the number of patients with obesity, with the most serious cases recorded among men.
As explained by the Ministry of Health, the new anti-obesity drug will help fight excess weight, which, in turn, will make people live longer and healthier.
