People who live to be a hundred years old tend to have certain eating habits.
To achieve the same result, it is worth taking note of how long-livers eat.
University of Southern California researcher Valter Longo told the Daily Mail about two dietary habits of centenarians that lower cholesterol.

Firstly, people who live to be a hundred years old prefer a light and early dinner. We are talking about eating no later than 3 hours before bedtime.
The expert stressed that if people overeat or dine too late, such a meal is fraught with increased cholesterol levels and blood pressure problems.
Secondly, it is not only the timing that is important, but also the quality of the food itself.
The diet of long-livers includes a certain composition of products, including:
- legumes;
- whole grain products;
- nuts;
- olive oil;
- vegetables.
These products should be present in the diet of every person who wants to live a long life, the expert believes.
