A nutritionist explained what needs to be included in the diet to prevent cancer and diabetes.
Healthy products are not always expensive or almost impossible to find on store shelves.
Dietitian Emily Leeming said some people underestimate the importance of eating fruits and vegetables regularly, the Bristol Post reports.

But they are extremely important because of their fiber content.
If there are few foods in the diet that are rich in dietary fiber, this triggers a series of health problems.
If there is enough fiber, the heart function improves, “bad” cholesterol does not accumulate, sugar levels are normal, and the gastrointestinal tract functions without interruption.
Therefore, vegetables and fruits are an important part of preventing cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
The nutritionist clarified that the daily diet of an adult should include at least 30 g of fiber.
The highest amounts of dietary fiber are found in beans, peas, whole grains, and fruit and vegetable skins.
For example, you can prepare side dishes from beans and bulgur, and serve potatoes in their skins.
