Ryazhenka and kefir are the two most popular fermented milk products.
That is why many of their fans sooner or later think about the benefits of each of them.
Let's figure out what the benefits of each of them are and how these drinks differ from each other.
Ryazhenka differs from kefir in the way it is prepared. It is simmered for several hours without allowing the milk to boil. After this time, lactic acid streptococci and lactobacilli are added to the drink for fermentation.
Kefir is prepared from whole milk, to which 20 different types of lactic acid, acetic and yeast bacteria are added for fermentation.
In the case of ryazhenka, it is difficult to call it a dietary product, since it is made from fatty milk. Therefore, this drink is contraindicated for those who count calories.
At the same time, ryazhenka has that melted taste that kefir does not have.
In turn, kefir is made on the basis of vinegar and alcohol fermentation, therefore, it is possible that it can irritate the stomach.
Earlier we wrote about which is healthier: turkey or chicken.
