Healthy eating is not about strict diets and restrictions, bland food without salt and other extremes.

First of all, healthy eating is about variety and balance, that is, you can safely eat a chocolate dessert and not harm yourself in any way if you know the basic rules for eating sweets.

Movement and health restoration specialist Evdokia Savochkina explained what “healthy eating” is.

If 90% of the food is healthy, then 10% of the food is for pleasure, it will help you feel freer and avoid breakdowns.

For our body to be healthy, it must receive the correct balance of calories, proteins, fats, carbohydrates (KBZhU), for each person it is individual and is calculated using a special formula that takes into account age, height, weight and level of physical activity.

But if you are not ready to start counting calories, start with the "plate rule". For a healthy diet, the following proportions are necessary: 50% of the plate is fiber (vegetables and greens), 25% protein food, 25% complex carbohydrates.

And don't forget about healthy fats. Most often, fats are already contained in protein foods.

In order to get the required amount of Fats, you need to add vegetable oils and nuts in small quantities. Without healthy Fats, important vitamins will not be absorbed, and your skin, hair and nails will suffer.

And so that sweets do not harm the body, I advise you to postpone desserts from 12 to 16 o'clock in the afternoon. I do not advise eating sweets in the morning, since sugar in the blood is low after sleep and dessert will cause a sharp jump, which will affect both the health of the brain and the state of the figure.

In the evening, on the contrary, blood sugar is at its peak, and in order not to raise it even more, it is better to put off sweets.

Another healthy eating recommendation is to limit the consumption of store-bought food. Store-bought food most often contains low-quality products, large amounts of sugar and trans fats, which are harmful to the body.

It is also important to monitor how and in what the food is cooked. When cooking, use only cast iron, ceramic and glass cookware. Using plastic and non-stick materials is harmful to health. It is better to choose boiling, stewing or baking as a cooking method, and reduce frying and smoking.

These simple tips will help make your diet healthier, which means improving your immunity, figure and overall health.
