It turns out that if you sleep less than the minimum threshold of 7 hours, then you can get serious health problems.

It is specified that the study was conducted by Simba, a company that improves the quality of people's sleep. It conducted a survey among those who do not get enough sleep every day.

It turned out that people suffer from the following problems:

  • increased skin sensitivity;
  • brittle nails;
  • eczema and dull skin tone;
  • psoriasis.

During sleep, blood flow increases, so regeneration processes are launched in the skin. Therefore, if there is not enough sleep, the skin will suffer, unable to recover naturally.

However, lack of sleep is dangerous not only for skin problems. 26% of the 2,175 Britons surveyed had weight problems, and another 32% suffered from bloating.

This is due to a hormonal imbalance, which causes a person to overeat.
